Story
Sustainable from the start
Guppi began as a college project, driven by Abby's passion for the ocean and her love for the Jersey Shore. Her mission for Guppi is to creatively make a difference by researching the best "eco-friendly" and sustainable materials, while making it affordable for everyone.
Meet Abby
Abby MacQueen is the owner and founder of Guppi. Inspired by her summers spent in Wildwood, Abby started Guppi in her dorm room at Towson University. She combined her love for the ocean and passion for business to make a positive impact. Through crowdfunding, she was able to get the equipment she needed. COVID gave her the opportunity to focus on her business and make it a full-time job. Abby is always growing and learning new ways to grow as a business and business owner.
